MUST HAVE:
- Puff Pastry Dough Folded
- 2 sheets of yeast-free dough (500 g);
- 4 tablespoons of ricotta cheese;
- 5 tablespoons of raspberry marmalade or jam;
- 2 quail eggs;
- a handful of almond sticks.
THE DISH WILL SUCCESS IF YOU COOK IT AS FOLLOWS:
- Spread the ricotta cheese evenly on one sheet of dough;
- Spread the raspberry marmalade or jam on top;
- Put and press the second sheet of dough on top;
- Cut a triangular Christmas tree out of the rectangle;
- For now, put the remaining dough away;
- Make horizontal incisions from the trunk towards the edges of the Christmas tree at every 1.5 cm;
- Leave a few centimetres at the top without incisions;
- Roll up strips – the branches of the Christmas tree;
- Cut a star out of the remaining dough and stick it at the top of the Christmas tree;
- You can cut a part of the top so that the star would stick better;
- Out of the remaining dough, roll up strips or different-shaped cookies;
- Spread beaten eggs on top and sprinkle with almond sticks;
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20 min.
