PUFF PASTRIES WITH SPINACH AND FETA

MUST HAVE:

  • Croissant Dough in Sheets
  • Half an onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tablespoons of oil
  • 4 handfuls of spinach leaves
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • half a packet of dough
  • a pinch of flour
  • 100 g of feta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • a pinch of dried oregano

THE DISH WILL SUCCESS IF YOU COOK IT AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Defrost the MANTINGA puff pastry dough at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Chop the onion and garlic and fry in a pan until soft.
  2. Add spinach, spices to the pan and fry everything while stirring. Cut the sheet of dough in half, sprinkle it with flour and pierce it with a fork in the middle, leaving 1-2 cm from the sides.
  3. Place a spoonful of the fried onion and spinach filling in the middle of the dough, and season it generously with cubes of feta cheese and oregano.
  4. Brush the edges of the dough with egg batter. Bake in the oven at a temperature of 180 °C for about 15 minutes, until browned and the filling is cooked.
