PASTRIES WITH GREEN PEAS AND MINT

MUST HAVE:

  • Puff Pastry Dough Folded
  • 200 g green peas;
  • 150 g ricotta cheese;
  • a few spoons of fresh mint leaves;
  • ½ lemon;
  • 1 egg;
  • salt, black pepper;
  • 1 spoon sesame and flax seeds

THE DISH WILL SUCCESS IF YOU COOK IT AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Blend the green peas with the ricotta and mint using a food processor. Add the salt, pepper, lemon zest and juice, and mix well;
  2. Lay the dough sheets on the table and slightly pull on all the edges. Put several spoons of the prepared filling on the longer side of the sheet and roll it up, then press the edges together;
  3. Cut the roll into small slices and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Glaze the pastries with beaten egg. Sprinkle with the seeds and bake in the oven preheated to 185 °C for about 20 minutes.
