PASTRIES WITH APPLES AND COTTAGE CHEESE

MUST HAVE:
- Puff Pastry Dough in Sheets
- 1 apple
- 1 egg
- 2 sheets of puff pastry dough
- 150 g cottage cheese with caraway seeds
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
- 1 sprig of thyme
THE DISH WILL SUCCESS IF YOU COOK IT AS FOLLOWS:
- Cut the apple into thin slices. Beat the egg. Place two half-cut sheets of MANTINGA puff pastry dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Top with cottage cheese, apples and brush the top with beaten egg. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Bake in a 180 °C oven for 15 minutes. Sprinkle fresh thyme on top of the baked pastries.
