PASTRIES WITH APPLES AND COTTAGE CHEESE

MUST HAVE:

  • Puff Pastry Dough in Sheets
  • 1 apple
  • 1 egg
  • 2 sheets of puff pastry dough
  • 150 g cottage cheese with caraway seeds
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon of brown sugar
  • 1 sprig of thyme

THE DISH WILL SUCCESS IF YOU COOK IT AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Cut the apple into thin slices. Beat the egg. Place two half-cut sheets of MANTINGA puff pastry dough on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  2. Top with cottage cheese, apples and brush the top with beaten egg. Sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  3. Bake in a 180 °C oven for 15 minutes. Sprinkle fresh thyme on top of the baked pastries.
