PASTIES FROM FROZEN DOUGH

MUST HAVE:

  • Puff Pastry Dough in Sheets
  • 300 g of minced pork
  • 1 medium-sized onion
  • a pinch of ground paprika
  • 1 handful of your favourite herbs
  • 80 ml of chicken broth
  • 1 egg
  • a pinch of salt
  • a pinch of black pepper
  • flour (for rolling)

THE DISH WILL SUCCESS IF YOU COOK IT AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Thaw the MANTINGA yeast-free puff pastry dough at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Mix the minced meat with spices, chopped onions and herbs, chicken broth.
  2. Roll out the dough with a rolling pin and cut out circles. Put mincemeat in the middle and form kibins.
  3. Brush the formed kibins with egg batter and bake in the oven at a temperature of 170 °C for about 20 minutes, until they are browned and the filling is cooked.
