MASCARPONE AND PEACH PIES

MUST HAVE:

  • Puff Pastry Dough in Sheets
  • 250 g Mascarpone cheese;
  • a few spoons of honey;
  • 1 spoon vanilla sugar;
  • 1 orange;
  • 450 g canned peach halves;
  • 1 egg;
  • 1 spoon poppy seeds

THE DISH WILL SUCCESS IF YOU COOK IT AS FOLLOWS:

  1. Mix the Mascarpone cheese with the honey, vanilla sugar and orange zest;
  2. Cut the sheets of dough into three pieces and slightly pull on the edges;
  3. Place one spoon of the Mascarpone mixture and a peach half in the middle of the dough square; Press the dough edges over the peach halves;
  4. Glaze the dough baskets with beaten egg;
  5. Sprinkle with poppy seeds and bake in an oven preheated to 200 °C for about 20 minutes.
